Luang Prabang (pt III)

Luang Prabang was the most sophisticated Asian city I’ve visited thus far. The town itself is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Something about the French influence in an Asian atmosphere made the city simply charming. Aside from the midnight town curfew, Luang Prabang was a pleasure to visit. I ate crepes, baguettes, and maybe a little curry while visiting. The night market was the best I’ve seen in SE Asia-so colorful and full of bargaining potential. A café and bar on the Khan River called Utopia kept me hydrated day and night with coconut juice and Singapore Slings. I will be back to visit Luang Prabang.

    1. I really think you would LOVE LPB. It was a wonderfully sophisticated little city with a laid back way of life. You're not too far...think about it.
