Pai (pt II)

Pai is known for its Burmese-style wats*. The Buddhas have colors other than gold or black incorporated, and the wat grounds are more colorful than traditional Thai wats. The town itself was small enough to entirely walk around in about 30 minutes, and the locals start to recognize your face after about a day. I could stay here for weeks, but the rest of SE Asia is begging me to explore it!

*Wat means ‘temple’ in Thai.
