I'm spending a month following markings across a country, hoping it leads me to Santiago de Compostela. It's really a crazy concept. Way marks obviously show the way to Santiago. They come in all shapes and sizes, they can be ANYWHERE, and they can be difficult to follow. Getting in and out of big cities proves especially challenging for me, so I always choose to walk with other pilgrims for these parts.
Here are some examples of way marks:
You walk toward the direction of the intersecting lines of the shell because it represents all the different ways to get to Santiago.

One yellow arrow is on the bottom step of the cross. The other is on the pole of the red street sign left hand side.
B)
The yellow arrow is on the corner of the building toward the nose of the white truck.
C)
There is one yellow arrow below the bushes on the brick directly ahead.
D)
There is one yellow arrow below a blue and yellow tile of the shell on the right hand corner of the church.
