St. Louis + Memphis

An impromptu road-trip took my mom and me to St. Louis and Memphis. We had to pit stop in Illinois for a night so I could take a standardized test, but we didn't let that ruin our fun. St. Louis is always a pleasure to visit, especially with the revitalized downtown area.

I spy the Old Courthouse.
This is where the Dread Scott decision was made.

Although Memphis is rundown, we explored the city's most touristy attractions and loved them: The Peabody Hotel, Graceland (!!!), Sun Studio, and Beale St.

See the ducks in the fountain?

Elvis bought Graceland when he was 22.
I'm 24 and have nothing to show for my life.

In these, the pelvic thrust was born. Thank you, Elvis.

Sun Studio is where Rock 'n Roll was born.
